Scientific committee:
It
will be formed by teachers of the faculty of Physics of different
departments. In no case they will be able to supervise none of the
presented works. His mission will be it of organizing scientific the
meetings of the congress and indicating the best works.
Organizing committee:
They
will compose it at least a pupil for course of the licentiate of
Physics and other one of the masters of Physics and of Electronic
Engineering, together with the equipment decanal or a representative of
this one.
Modalities and Categories:
The
Congress will divide in two categories: oral and wall presentations
(poster). The presentations recommend to themselves that should be done
by means of projector. The dimensions of the poster must be: height 100
cm and width 80 cm.
Directed to Pupils:
All
the pupils of the University will be able to represent. To take part
actively, that is to say, with an oral presentation or with a poster,
you must belong to the faculty of Physics or to any faculty in whose
qualifications subjects related to the Physics are dealed.
Presentation of Works:
The
presentations will reflect works that can realize so much of individual
form as in equipment, without members' limit. They will be able to be
guided by a tutor or supervisor.
The participants will be able to
present his work in the category that they wish, saving it-self the
scientific committee the right to propose to the participants the
change of the same one for reasons of organization.
The poster must have the following dimensions: 100 x 80 cm.
The oral presentations must have a maximum duration of 15 minutes, more a shift of 5 minutes of questions.
Pre-inscription:
In
both categories, the authors will have to show his(her,your) intention
of taking part by means of a pre-inscription. Available in .doc and
online (in the eyelash of pre-inscription). Also it is possible to send
an e-mail (congresofisica.ull@gmail.com) in the one that will appear of
tentative form: title, authors, qualifications and course in which they
are registered and a short summary, of maximum how 100 words, which
contain the basic ideas of the work to developing. Of this form, the
committees organizing and scientific will be able to accept his
participation in the congress and to define the meetings of the same
one. Deadline of the pre-inscription: On January 12, 2009.
Inscription:
The
period of inscription is opened On January 12, 2009, from this day they
will have to do the inscription route web or stamping the form (.doc),
and then to follow one of these steps:
This
period of inscription will be opened until March 6, 2009. Once finish,
the Scientific Committee promises to give the list of admitted and
excluded in the space of 15 days, which route will be sent personally
to all the referees of the IInd COEFFIS web. Once accepted, the
participants will deliver the second summary more wide that it will
have to fulfill the following characteristics: Be careful!!: Though you are not in the pre-inscription you can do directly the inscription to the congress.
Credits of free choice (CLE):
The faculty of Physics will recognize the activity in the congress of the following form:
Assistance: 1 CLE (if you come at least to 80 % of the presentations and refilling a test that will be given at the end of the congress)
Participants: 2 CLE (if you do an oral presentation and / or a poster)
The
CLEs are additives, that is to say, a person who realizes a
presentation and in addition he attends at least 80 % of the papers it
will be able to confirm his participation in the congress for 3 CLEs.
BIDDING TERMS
Motivation and Aims: The Science, especially the Physics, not only it is necessary to know and practise it but it is that to be able to transmit it her. Between the achievements and skills related to the qualifications that represent the end of every cycle of the European Space of the Top Education there appears explicitly the aptitude to communicate information, knowledge, ideas, problems and solutions, conclusions of works and last reasons that sustain them, to public specializing and not specialized, that is to say, to supervisors, colleagues of the academic community and to the society in general. The Students' Congress of Physics tries to be a vehicle that it contributes to this formation announcing, promoting and promoting the Physics and his applications that the students develop in the Faculty of Physics and related qualifications, of the University of La Laguna. This event tries to foment also among the student body the accomplishment of activities in relation with the world of the scientific investigation, the teamwork and the practice of transverse necessary skills in the labour and scientific world.
Organizing committee:
They will compose it at least a pupil for course of the Graduation of Physics and of Electronic Engineering and other one of the Masters that are given in the Faculty of Physics, together with the Equipment Decanal or a representative of this one.
The Organizing current Committee is composed by Aarón Enríquez Alonso, Adrián Hernández García, Ana Belén Griñón Marín, Andrés del Pino Molina, Esaú Reyes Ramos, José Jairo Díaz Luis, Pablo Martín Ravelo and Santiago Erroz Ferrer.
Scientific committee:
It will be formed by teachers of the Faculty of Physics of different departments. In no case they will be able to be supervisors of none of the presented works. His mission will be it of organizing scientific the meetings of the Congress and emphasizing the best works.
Modalities:
The Congress will be divided in two categories: Oral and Wall Presentations (Poster).
Directed to Pupils:
Participants: pupils belonging to the Faculty(Power) of Physics and any qualifications in which there are dealed subjects related to the Physics (up to Master's level inclusive).
Assistants: specially directed the university student body, and opened persons been interested in the physics as auditors.
The quota of inscription to the congress will be of 6 €. The inscribed person will have right to a libretto of the COEFFIS, a water bottle, coffee-breaks during the congress...
Presentation of the Works:
The presentations will correspond to works, which can be individuals or of equipment, formed by 6 components at the maximum. They will be able to be supervised by a tutor (teacher of the ULL or investigative doctor of some of the centers of investigation of Tenerife).
The participants will be able to present his works in the category that they wish, saving itself the Scientific Committee the right to propose to the participants the change of the same one for reasons of organization.
Suggestions for the participation:
Among others they will be able to appear:
Works of Investigation: projects of end of career, of Master, etc.
Bibliographical reviews on topics of interest, so much of scientific and technological current importance, since biographical, of historical context, etc.
Development of laboratory practices.
Any other topic related to the Physics that is accepted by the Scientific Committee.
Pre-inscription:
In

selected topic. Of this form, the committees Organizing and Scientific
will be able to accept his participation in the Congress and to define
the meetings of the same one.

Inscription:
Once accepted the works, the participants will have to deliver the more wide second summary with the following characteristics:
Not to exceed 400 words.
To include the title (capital letter, boldface, centred), author/s
To specify Faculty, Graduation, Area of Knowledge
To contain the bibliography [title, author, year, publishing house, page]
It can include figures.
They can include gratefulnesses: to the tutor and to the persons who have contributed to the development of the work...
All this must appear in the only page in letter Swindle New Roman size 11, interlineado 1.5.
With these summaries a book of contributions will be made to the congress that will submit to every assistant to the beginning of the same one.

Certificates of Assistance and Participation and CLEs:
The Faculty of Physics will recognize the activity in the congress of the following form:
To the participants who attend at least 80 % of the meetings and who do not present any presentation: 1 CLE and a certificate of assistance.
To the participants who present some presentation: 2 CLEs and a certificate of the corresponding participation.
- To the members of the Organizing Committee: 3 CLEs and certificate of the corresponding participation.
Depending on the quality of the works the scientific committee will be able to grant mentions or prizes.
